Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the PandaBot SEO-GEO browser extension, including its local Search Engine Optimization (SEO) analysis tools, Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) content generation workflows, browser-side diagnostics, and local AI model features.
For the core PandaBot SEO-GEO workflows described in this policy, analysis inputs, inspected page content, local AI inputs and outputs, generated artifacts, and saved history are processed locally in your browser on your device and are not transmitted to PandaBot servers or other third-party remote servers.
This policy does not replace any broader PandaBot website or platform privacy terms that may apply when you use other PandaBot services outside this extension.
Information We Collect
We may collect, receive, store, or process the following categories of information when you use PandaBot SEO-GEO.
For the extension's core SEO and GEO workflows, this information is collected from the page you choose to analyze and stored or processed locally in the browser on your device. PandaBot does not send that workflow data to PandaBot servers or other third-party remote servers.
Search Engine Optimization And Generative Engine Optimization Analysis Data
- URLs submitted for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) workflows.
- On-page content and metadata that the extension reads from pages you analyze, such as titles, meta descriptions, headings, canonical links, visible text, image information, and link structure.
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) inspection outputs such as issue summaries, keyword guidance, content observations, and page-level analysis results.
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) outputs such as page summaries, site summaries, section suggestions, llms.txt-style artifacts, markdown exports, and locally saved history records.
Local Extension Data
- Local preferences and extension settings.
- SEO and GEO run history saved in browser-managed storage.
- Diagnostics, runtime state, and recovery data needed to keep the extension reliable between browser sessions.
Local AI Runtime Data
- Local AI compatibility and installation state.
- Model cache state and related runtime metadata.
- Inputs and outputs processed by local AI features used for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) enrichment when those features are enabled in the browser.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Run Search Engine Optimization (SEO) inspection on pages you choose to analyze.
- Generate Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)-ready summaries and structured content artifacts for the pages or sites you choose.
- Operate the browser-side local AI model used for supported Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) enrichment features.
- Save preferences, history, generated outputs, and runtime state on your device.
- Detect failures, troubleshoot issues, and maintain the reliability and security of the extension.
These workflows are designed to run locally in the browser. PandaBot does not send inspected page content, SEO or GEO analysis inputs, generated outputs, local AI prompts or responses, or saved extension history to PandaBot servers or other third-party remote servers as part of the extension's core operation.
PandaBot SEO-GEO does not require PandaBot account login and does not use extension data for creditworthiness or lending decisions.
Where Information Is Stored
Depending on the workflow, information may be stored in one or more of the following places.
In Browser Storage
The extension stores certain information in browser-managed local storage, including:
- saved extension settings
- Search Engine Optimization (SEO) analysis history
- Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) session history
- local AI state
- diagnostic and runtime state needed for recovery
In Local AI Caches
If you enable PandaBot local AI features, model files and related runtime artifacts may be stored locally in browser-managed caches on your device.
In Active Web Pages
When you request Search Engine Optimization (SEO) or Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) analysis, the extension reads relevant page signals from the website currently being inspected in your browser.
Third-Party Websites And Content
The extension may inspect third-party websites as part of user-requested Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) analysis. Those websites control their own content, cookies, and privacy practices. PandaBot is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites.
Permissions And Access
The extension requests browser permissions that allow it to:
- Run the PandaBot SEO-GEO side panel interface.
- Persist local extension state, history, and generated outputs.
- Run offscreen local AI processing and related browser-side workflows.
- Inspect the active webpage and collect the page signals needed for user-requested Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) analysis.
- Access the current tab so the extension can analyze the page you choose.
Because users may run Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) analysis on many different websites, the extension requires broad host access to inspect the page currently being analyzed.
Data Retention
Retention may vary by data type and workflow.
- Local browser data may remain until it is replaced, cleared by the extension, cleared by the user, or removed when the extension is uninstalled.
- Locally cached AI model artifacts may remain until the model cache is reset or the extension data is removed.
- Generated Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) history remains on the device until the user clears it or removes the extension data.
Your Choices
Depending on the feature, you may be able to:
- Choose which websites or pages to inspect for Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) workflows.
- Clear local browser storage by removing the extension or clearing extension data in the browser.
- Reset local AI cached artifacts through the extension's Local AI controls.
- Choose whether to enable local AI support for supported Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) workflows.
Security
PandaBot uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect extension-related information stored or processed by the extension. However, no method of local storage or processing is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Children's Privacy
The PandaBot SEO-GEO extension is not intended to be directed to children under the age required by applicable law to consent to data processing on their own.
Changes To This Policy
PandaBot may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, PandaBot may update the published policy date and provide notice through the extension, PandaBot services, or the PandaBot website where appropriate.
